This is the second in a series where one of our team members shares one of their favorite aspects of Fountain Hills.
Michelle Monks is The Home Team’s Transaction Coordinator. She grew up in Fountain Hills and we are celebrating her wedding coming up next month.
“I love the community events that take place on Avenue of the Fountains. Since our office is located there, it’s fun to be in the center of all the different events right outside our front door,” says Michelle.
Michelle’s favorite Avenue events include:
I love the hometown feeling of this event when parents and siblings come to cheer on their family members. It builds great anticipation in the community for Homecoming and gives residents a chance to show their support for our local athletic programs.
Halloween in the Hills
We love to outdo ourselves for this event with our Spider Village. It’s fun to see all the creative costumes and watch the kids come out of our spooky village experience with wide eyes and a smile on their faces. We also put on a great spread of food and adult beverages for our clients and friends.
Stroll in the Glow
I like how this event is a magical hometown kickoff for the holiday season. Our dancing elves are full of energy while they entertain our guests and the kids love writing a letter to Santa, which we secretly mail back to parents. But my favorite part is meeting with clients and friends at our bar and hearing about their plans for the holidays.
The best part about the fairs is eating my way down the Avenue. We can smell the kettle corn and other yummy treats from our office, which makes it hard to resist. It’s one of the best parts about having our office on the Avenue in the middle of it all.
Farmer’s Market/Art on the Avenue
It’s great to see people coming out every single week in the cooler weather to browse the booths. It’s always a treat when a client is at the Farmer’s Market and decides to pop in to say hello.
“During the parade, Halloween, and Stroll in the Glow, you can find me in the office helping to throw a great party. Please stop in and say hello!”
